IAPMO R&T Lab, North America’s preeminent provider of independent testing, research and technical services to the plumbing and mechanical industries, is proud to announce it has achieved accreditation through ACLASS.

ACLASS, one of two brands of the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board, provides accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for testing and calibration laboratories.

The ACLASS accreditation means that test reports issued by IAPMO R&T Lab will also be recognized by ILAC, APLAC and IAAC, as ACLASS is a signatory of multilateral recognition arrangements that facilitate acceptance of test and calibration data internationally.

“Achieving accreditation by ACLASS is another milestone for IAPMO R&T Lab,” said Ken Wijaya, senior director of IAPMO R&T Lab. “The audit performed by ACLASS was rigorous.”

The accreditation is not limited to plumbing products, fixtures and fittings alone; it also includes Electrical Testing, Material Testing and Drinking Water System components.
