ASSE seeks industry professionals to participate in the revision of ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 6000, Professional Qualifications Standard for Medical Gas Systems Personnel
Westlake, Ohio, Dec. 12, 2011 - The American Society of Sanitary Engineering is forming a working group for the revision of the ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 6000, Professional Qualifications Standard for Medical Gas Systems Personnel. The Series 6000 applies to specialists, installers, inspectors, verifiers and instructors.
The ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 6000, Professional Qualifications Standard for Medical Gas Systems Personnel, is based in part on the requirements of NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code. With the recent revisions to NFPA 99 and the publication of the 2012 Edition, ASSE will revise the current edition of the Series 6000 for consistency with the updated Health Care Facilities Code.
